Today I have realised something. These last few weeks in #Lockdown are actually the first time for as long as I can remember, I’ve actually got time. I’m not rushing from AtoB, Proving bread is no longer a chore that I’m trying to fit in between going somewhere unimportant!
Dog walking is no longer something I need to fit into my days & is now something that is taken at a leisurely pace, I can take my time to really see what’s going on around me.
Household chores are something I’m getting satisfaction when completed.
Yes I’m really missing my children, but although we aren’t physically seeing each other we have had the most conversations in our daily phone/FaceTime chats in the last 4 weeks than in any other 4 week period.
I’m not going to pretend these times are easy and yes I know I’m very fortunate to live in a place where I can walk freely and have the tools to speak to my family daily, but something I do know is, I’m grateful to have realised that time is precious and even in #lockdown it should be used wisely xxxx
